Use Devine Gardens vermicompost in your seed starting soil

Devine Gardens will be in the A shed at the Regional Market Saturday, March 23rd.

This is a picture of a small greenhouse that I just bought to germinate and grow seedlings in. As you can see, it is already full. There are 4 different kinds of tomatoes, 3 kinds of peppers, eggplant, onion, lots of herbs and I'm forcing some daffodil bulbs that did not get planted last fall. The heater keeps the greenhouse a toasty 72 degrees.

I added 10% Devine Gardens vermicompost to the seed starting mix. Vermicompost helps seeds germinate quicker. It has also been shown to help the seedlings fight off pythium disease (dampening off). Cornell made a remarkable video about vermicompost that includes information showing how plants fight off pythium disease.
