Meet Joy! She was born Monday evening, May 6th. Her mother, Willa, surprised us about a week before she was born and in her cowish ways told us she was expecting.
Her name is Joy because that is how I often feel when I watch the cows. They are peaceful and entertaining. When the new babies come it's a small miracle - just like all new life.
Willa is a sweetheart and it seems like Joy will be a sweetie too. She and her momma are letting me pet her. They are so frail the first day but in a few days it's hard to hold them in one place. They just grow so fast.
