The new aerated composting bays are up and running!! The first
batch wasn't so good, the feedstock mix wasn't in the right proportions. I'm on
the fourth batch and I think this one will be the compost that I'm looking for.
It still needs time to mature which takes at least 2 months so I may not have
very much compost ready for spring sales. We'll just have to wait and
see.
In the meantime I have been busy making a
Devine Gardens facebook page, becoming able to accept credit cards, thinking
about adding another size to sell vermicompost, such as 4 quarts and making sure
the worms are happy. Before we know it the CNY in Bloom show, February 28 -
March 3 will be here
